Inside A Vista Desktop Theme
This is a guest post by Dan Miller
Do you like your Vista desktop theme? Most of the time I’m in love with mine. I’m used to it and having it show up on my computer screen is akin to having an old friend show up at the door. I know there are other themes out there and there are even some different choices already on my computer for a Vista desktop theme.
When I’m ready, I’ll go online and see what else is out there. I know there must be dozens of Vista themes for me to choose from. For now, I’m not really ready to select a different Vista theme.
One of the reasons I’m content is that I was able to find some different icon sets online. That was great. It allowed me to dress up my Vista desktop theme a bit and not revamp the entire theme. It might not be the best looking Windows design, but I’m rather happy since I’m only a basic computer user and not too fussed with the looks.
I have a friend who uses Windows Vista and she tells me that she changes her Vista desktop theme about once a month! I asked her how she does that and she told me how easy it is, especially after you change it the first time. She changes her theme around certain holidays to give it a festive look and she changes it to match the seasons too.
Even though I’m happy with my Vista desktop theme as it sits, I’ve decided to have a look around and see what other themes are out there. My friend told me that she found hundreds of themes out there and that the hardest part was deciding which Vista desktop theme to choose!
